We talk about how the center started as The Glens Falls Home. a residential facility for older women, and when another more suitable residential facility was developed, there was a name change, and the Conkling Center became a provider of programs and services for older adults in the community. "Our mission is to enhance the quality of life of seniors in the community directly and indirectly by providing services, programs, and opportunities to meet their ever-changing needs," says Tarantino.
